What’s Common – Game

View

Number of players: 6+
Time: 5min+ per game (depending on players)
Ages: 7+
Location: Indoor

Split your players into 2 or more groups. Groups are to roundup anything that they have in common (examples below). Teams are given a time limit and the team with the most common characteristics wins.

The objective, really is to have players know each other more.

Controlling the game
The category for ‘Common characteristics’ should be lenient and up to the players to define what is common. However, gamemaster should have the final say to prevent exaggeration. To keep time and have the game controlled, a limited list of 10 common characteristics can be set. Gamemaster to eliminate characteristics which do not sound right or are too ‘common’, disallowed examples listed below.

Examples
Age (all in 30s), Nationality, Habits (wake early at 7am), same number of siblings

Disallowed Examples (things which may seem rude or obviously common)
Same skin color, we are all humans, we all have 2 legs, 2 arms
